Student Life Ski Financial Guidelines

Student Life is committed to providing a quality educational experience at the lowest possible price so that more students can experience Student Life events. Our goal is not to entertain, but rather to provide training and bring the teachings of Scripture to life.

Reserving Space:

Securing reservations is as simple as filling out the online Registration Form or calling our office at 1-800-718-2267.

Payment Options:

• Send payment by check to Student Life, PO Box 36040, Birmingham, AL 35236.
• Pay by credit card during your event registration (Visa, MC and AMEX) or by calling Student Life at 1-800-718-2267.

NOTE: Prices are based on max occupancy of FOUR persons per room (SIX at the Comfort Suites) in Boone and SIX persons per room in Winter Park. Rooms not filled with max occupancy will be charged $30 per empty pillow, per room, per night for a total of $90 per empty space.

Boone Guidelines January 16-19, 2009 in Boone, NC Deposits of $75 per person are due October 15, 2008.* After October 15, 2008, no reservations will be guaranteed without a complete deposit of $75 per person. November 15, 2008, the deposit of $75 per person becomes non-refundable and cannot be transferred to your group’s final balance. All groups must declare an official registration number no later than December 15, 2008, which will be the number we use to calculate your final balance. Final balance of the bill and rooming list is due December 15, 2008. Groups paying final balances after this deadline will be charged an additional $10 per person. Due to our contracts with hotels and ski company, cancellations after December 15, 2008, groups will not receive a refund.

Winter Park, CO Guidelines March 14-17 & March 18-21, 2009 in Winter Park, CO Deposits of $75 per person are due December 1, 2008.* After December 1, 2008, no reservations will be guaranteed without a complete deposit of $75 per person. After January 1, 2009, the deposit of $75 per person becomes non-refundable and cannot be transferred to your group’s final balance. All groups must declare an official registration number no later than February 1, 2009, which will be the number we use to calculate your final balance. Final balance of the bill and rooming list is due February 1, 2009. Groups paying final balances after this deadline will be charged an additional $10 per person.Due to our contracts with our location and ski company, cancellations after Febraury 1, 2009, groups will not receive a refund.

*All groups attending worship but NOT staying in a hotel or skiing may attend for $59. No deposit required. Final payment is due the first night of worship.

National Disaster Cancellation Policy
Since Student Life began, we have always followed through with hosting planned events. We are committed to continue to do so. However, in these uncertain times post-9/11, a national disaster or act of terror could render us both unable to host a planned event and unable to return your deposits. We hire staff, purchase equipment, and rent non-refundable facilities based on your reservations. Please be advised that if a Student Life event is cancelled due to such extraordinary circumstances, we cannot refund your deposits regardless of other published cancellation dates and deadlines.

Weather Cancellation Policy
Student Life has your group’s safety in mind as we host events. If an event is hosted as scheduled and your group cancels or reduces numbers due to weather conditions, all payments are non-refundable. If we are unable to host an event due to weather conditions, deposits cannot be refunded. Refunds of final balance payments will be made only if properties and/or locations refund Student Life for these costs.
